Biking across America on a tandem bike

Love the posts and the pictures! Relieved that you missed the hail. Nice to have your own private hotel to accompany you on the journey.
I just found your blog, Evan. Way cool. Your Dad now looks like a shrimp beside you! What happened?
Am at the Cape. Taking in the sea breezes, having a fire, a few sprinkles today. Nice and cozy in here.
Cool Winnebago. How does that work, going from place to place? I know, you remotely steer it from your cell phone while on the bike, right?
Safe biking today. Can’t wait to see the updates.
Love Aunt Marcy xoxoxoxo
Janet and Kristi checking in. Way to go you two! We thought Mike was way too old to be allowed on a bicycle? We’re enjoying the beautiful Cape view with Marcy, we can feel Buck and Mimi all around us. Keep up the good work, you big solid men! Go Sayles go! xoxo Kristi and Janet
Hi Mike and Evan. Mike invited me to check out your blog, and I like it. I always get a kick out of the Corn Palace. We are wide open to any questions about RAGBRAI next summer, and thanks for being in touch, Mike. Great photos. You guys have the right idea about 1) crossing the country in stages, 2) spending quality time with family, and 3) living life to the fullest. Good on you. Tammy from Pork Belly Ventures
Glad to see you had a successful ride across South Dakota. Still think about you guys often. Seems like only yesterday (easy for me to say) you were in Billings. Be safe and God Bless!! Dennis – THE BIKE SHOP
I just found the blog again.. new google fo
rmat separates types of email.. you slipped into social.. anyway.. this trip looks like so much fun.. Mike, I think the hose water may have had a high iron count.. no ‘children of the corn’ out to getcha!! Iowa looks quite lovely — but maybe once is enough! Except for those burritos, Evan you may need a return visit down the road.. So proud of you both for your ‘great adventure!’ See you soon! Joyce C.
Mike & Evan — What a fabulous adventure you are on! It’s fun reading about it. It was great meeting you and having you on our Team Gourmet bus ride to Chicago at the end of RAGBRAI. I sure hope you made it to the airport in time to catch your flights, and that you had a good rest and a great time at band camp. I look forward to reading about the continuation of the trip. This is one you’ll remember for the rest of your lives.
Great to have you guys pass through Napoleon – stop back anytime!

What an amazing journey you guys have been on! And what a fantastic adventure for a father and son to do together! Enjoy the rest of your trip.
It was great riding with you as you completed your fabulous journey. Chris and I want to sincerely thank you for including us for the last 2.5 miles. And, are you 2 climbing Mount Kilimanjaro next summer?
Your FL/WV buddies – Jim & Chris
What a fabulous journey. I just heard about it from David Smith.
I was curious if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your
website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two
images. Maybe you could space it out better?
